About Me:

My name is Lindy, but I go by Lin. I was pretty heavy as a kid (as society would call it), and through many many trials & tribulations of trying to figure out what to do with my body, I discovered a very real love for fitness. Many people are uncomfortable coming forth with their goals or doing the motions for weight loss, but I’m a true advocate of movement for ALL body types. I make sure my clients know that.

What motivates you to work out and live a healthy lifestyle?

The mental domino effect that happens when you start transitioning your lifestyle is addicting. Okay, you started working out & eating a bit better, but now you’re thinking about your hair, your skin, your toes, your mental, your happiness. It allows your perspective on EVERYTHING to change from “for my society” to “for ME.”

What does your workout routine look like?

Always trying to get this cake up! I do 2 lower body days a week, 1 upper body, 1 cardio day, & 1 ab day with accessory work.

What might we catch you doing outside the gym?

I’m 100% at the beach drinking wine

What are your best 3 health tips people can implement right now?

1) BE GRACIOUS TO YOURSELF. Everyone I know has gained weight during this very weird state of the world, including myself. It’s important to keep at the forefront of your mind that it’s okay to want to eat or find a comforting distraction during literal world turmoil. Please be kind to your mind first.

2) Get some kind of movement in for the day. If it’s a walk, a short gym session, dancing in the mirror, anything. Get that blood flowing!

3) Incorporate some kind of fruit or vegetable with every meal & snack.
